Start Your Engines!

BAYONNE, NJ – May 25, 2007 - What’s the coolest way to spend a hot summer night?  The Bayonne Town Center has the answer.  Cruise on over to the Classic Car Show on Thursday, June 7th.  Enjoy a performance by ‘Elvis’, Bayonne’s own Eddie O’Rourke, who will sing a number of songs made famous by the King!  A DJ will spin your favorite oldies.  A new addition this year will be slot car racing presented by Pastime Hobbies & Miniatures.  Come test your skills as miniature cars race around a custom track.  Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners!  Vintage bicycles more your speed?  Come see the variety of classic bikes courtesy of Eddy’s Cycle City.  The car show will be held on Broadway between 17th and 20th Streets from 6-9pm.  The rain date for this show will be Thursday, June 14th.  The vintage cars are provided courtesy of Liberty Classic Car Club.
