BTC and City of Bayonne Host 1st Annual Ice Cream Eating Contest!

BAYONNE, NJ – June 5, 2009 - Join the Bayonne Town Center and the City of Bayonne on Saturday, June 20th for the 1st Annual Ice Cream Eating Contest, sponsored by Carvel Ice Cream, CKO Kickboxing, and Herbert’s Army & Navy.  Since this contest is the day before Father’s Day, we are inviting you to bring out your dad for this event.  We are registering teams of 2 (Dads with children ages 7-12 & Dads with children ages 13 and up) now at Carvel Ice Cream.  Each category will have only 10 teams so make sure you register today!!!  There is no fee to enter.  Deadline to register is Saturday, June 13th.  We will also have a list of alternates in case some teams do not attend on that day.

Contest winners will win memberships to CKO Kickboxing located at 555 Broadway along with prizes donated by Carvel Ice Cream, including an MP3 player and Carvel Gift Certificates.  All participants will receive a free t-shirt.  This contest will be held on East 22nd Street right off of Broadway at 12pm on Saturday, June 20th.  For more information, please call the Bayonne Town Center at 339-9409.
