Start Your Engines!

BAYONNE, NJ – June 7, 2006 - What’s the coolest way to spend a hot summer night?  The Bayonne Town Center has the answer.  Cruise on over to the Classic Car Shows held once a month for the entire summer.  This year’s dates include June 15th, July 13th, August 17th, and September 21st (all Thursdays).  On June 15th, enjoy a performance by ‘Elvis’ who will sing a number of songs made famous by the King!  A DJ will be at all the shows spinning your favorite oldies.  A new addition this year will be slot car racing presented by The Candle Cottage.  Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners!  The car shows will be held on Broadway between 17th and 20th Streets from 6-9pm.  The rain dates for the shows will be the following Thursday.  The vintage cars are provided courtesy of Liberty Classic Car Club.
