Summer Car Show Series Kicks Off

BAYONNE, NJ – June 20, 2006 - On Thursday, June 15th, the Bayonne Town Center hosted the first of the Car Shows in the summer series.  The show was held on Broadway between 17 & 20 Streets.  Kids and adults were lined up all night to participate in the new hit, slot car racing presented by the Candle Cottage and Past Time Hobbies.  Trophies were handed out to the first, second and third place winners.  Not to be outdone, Bayonne’s own Eddie O’Rourke entertained the crowd by singing classic Elvis favorites.  A DJ spun oldies throughout the night while guests danced down Broadway.  Join us for our next car show scheduled for Thursday, July 13th.  The rain date is for the following Thursday. All car shows are held on Broadway from 17th to 20th Streets and are from 6-9pm.
