Over 300 People Cruise Over to Car Show!
BAYONNE, NJ – July 26, 2006 - What’s the coolest way to spend a hot summer night? The Bayonne Town Center has the answer. The Bayonne Town Center hosted the Classic Car Show on Thursday, July 13th. The Car Show was held on Broadway between 17th & 20th Streets. Over 300 People crowded the streets to see classic cars, race in the slot car racing tournament and see the vintage bicycles. A record amount of guests signed up for the slot car racing presented by The Candle Cottage and Past Time Hobbies. Trophies were awarded to 1st thru 3rd place winners. Also, premiering at the car show were the vintage bicycles presented by Eddy’s Cycle City. The entertainment at this show was the Dameron Strutters of Bayonne led by Judy Johnson.
Make sure you save the date for our upcoming summer events! The next car show is scheduled for Thursday, August 17th on Broadway between 17th & 20th Streets from 6-9pm.
