Start Your Engines!

BAYONNE, NJ – August 4, 2006 - What’s the coolest way to spend a hot summer night?  The Bayonne Town Center has the answer.  Cruise on over to the Classic Car Show on Thursday, August 17th.  A DJ will spin your favorite oldies.  A new addition this year will be slot car racing presented by The Candle Cottage.  Come test your skills as miniature cars race around a custom track.  Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners!  Also new to this year’s car show, Eddy’s Cycle City will be presenting vintage bicycles.  The car show will be held on Broadway between 17th and 20th Streets from 6-9pm.  The rain date for this show will be Thursday, August 24th.  The vintage cars are provided courtesy of Liberty Classic Car Club.

Make sure you save the date for our upcoming summer events!  At dusk on August 22nd the BTC will present Young Frankenstein in the parking lot at 22nd Street and Del Monte Drive.  The last car show is scheduled for September 21st on Broadway between 17th & 20th Streets from 6-9pm.
