Movies Under the Stars Presents Young Frankenstein

BAYONNE, NJ – August 14, 2006 - On Tuesday, August 22nd, the Bayonne Town Center will present the last film in the 2006 Movies Under the Stars series, Young Frankenstein, directed by Mel Brooks.  This movie will be shown in the parking lot at 22nd Street and Del Monte Drive at dusk (approx. 8:30).  Make sure you arrive early for free give-aways.  Bring your own lawn chair as seating will not be provided.  As always, Bayonne Town Center events are free to the public.  Films are provided by John Kennedy Event Services.

A young neurosurgeon (Gene Wilder) inherits the castle of his grandfather, the famous Dr. Victor von Frankenstein.  In the castle he finds a funny hunchback called Igor, a pretty lab assistant named Inga and the old housekeeper, frau Blucher.  Young Frankenstein believes that the work of his grandfather is only boloney, but when he discovers the book where the mad doctor described his reanimation experiment, he suddenly changes his mind.
