Join the BTC for the Classic Car Show & Movies Under the Stars

BAYONNE, NJ – August 14, 2008 - What’s the coolest way to spend a hot summer night?  The Bayonne Town Center has the answer.  Cruise on over to the Classic Car Show on Thursday, August 17th.  A DJ will spin your favorite oldies.  Come test your skills as miniature cars race around a custom track.  Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners!  Also Eddy’s Cycle City will be presenting vintage bicycles.  The car show will be held on Broadway between 17th and 20th Streets from 6-9pm.  The rain date for this show will be Thursday, August 28th.  The vintage cars are provided courtesy of Liberty Classic Car Club.

Entertaining the crowd at this car show will be Bayonne’s own Eddie O’Rourke as he performs hits made famous by Elvis.  Don’t miss his performance, a classic car show favorite! 

Make sure you save the date for our Movie Under the Stars!  At dusk on August 26th the BTC will present Back to the Future in the parking lot at 22nd Street and Del Monte Drive.  Bring your lawn chairs as seating is not provided.  Arrive early for free give aways!  The year is 1985 and Marty McFly is your everyday teenager, except for one problem. He is stuck in 1955. After his good friend Doc Emmett Brown is gunned down, Marty ends up sending the DeLorean back thirty years into the past. Now, he must find the Doc and convince him that he is from the future, in order for the Doc to send him back to the future.
