| Santa Letter Winners Rewarded at Irwin's.
BAYONNE, NJ – January 17, 2006 - The Bayonne Town Center rewarded two children for their wonderful letters to Santa. Over 100 letters were written to Santa and dropped in the mailbox in front of Irwin’s on 22nd Street & Broadway. The best of the letters was put aside and the writers rewarded by the Bayonne Town Center and Irwin’s Toyland. John Hall, age 12, and Alexis Bailey, age 10, stopped by Irwin’s to select their prizes valued at $50. Both children had the run of the store, browsing every aisle till they found just the right gift. The special items the children picked out were well deserved. They both wrote letters to Santa that were heart-felt and creative. Some of the toys that the children selected were paint sets, stuffed animals, trucks, and drawing supplies.
The children and their parents were very thankful to the Bayonne Town Center and Irwin’s Toyland for selecting their letters as the best ones written this year. “It’s been a real blessing to our family,” said John Hall Sr.
Cathy Jakubowski, Executive Director of the Bayonne Town Center said, “I would like to thank Irwin for his ongoing generosity to the children of the community. I would also like to thank Postmaster Nick Iarossi for providing Santa’s mailbox for yet another year.”
