BTC and Boy Scouts Retire American Flags.

BAYONNE, NJ – May 19, 2006 - On June 14th, the St. Mary’s Boy Scouts Troop 20 will retire American Flags at 16th Street Park during the Annual Flag Burning Ceremony.  The Troop will be distributing boxes to stores within the Bayonne Town Center that will serve as flag drop-off sites.  The Town Center stores that are participating are Gormley, LoRe, Murphy Insurance Agency (605 Broadway), Aaron’s Gold (520 Broadway), Carvel (478 Broadway), Klothes Kloset (530 Broadway), Candle Cottage (528 Broadway), and all branches of the Bayonne Community Bank (510 Broadway, 860 Broadway, 104-110 Avenue C).  Drop off your flags today at one of these locations.  The Flag Burning Ceremony is run by the Bayonne Memorial Day Committee.  For more information, please call Bob Hickey of the St. Mary’s Boy Scouts Troop 20 at (201)888-2801.
