BAYONNE, NJ – June 11, 2009. On Thursday, June 4th the Peal Collection gave an historical presentation to the St. Andrew’s Cub Scouts Pack #20 at the Bayonne Town Center where a display is set up depicting “A Tribute to the Town” by Frank Montono.  This display is on loan from the Bayonne Community Museum. 

Miss Alice & Miss Priscilla informed the boys of 400 years of Bayonne history as well as many interesting “Firsts” that took place in Bayonne.  The boys and their parents also got to see a miniature display of “Uncle Milty’s” along with a display depicting old stores on Broadway, the old Fire House and an old farm that used to be in Bayonne.  This lecture helped them fulfill achievements of finding out about history in their community.
