Bayonne Town Center and Boyscouts Retire American Flags

BAYONNE, NJ – June 21, 2006 - On June 14th, the St. Mary’s Boy Scouts Troop 20 retired American Flags at 16th Street Park during the Annual Flag Burning Ceremony.  The Bayonne Town Center Management office donated a box of over 50 flags to the St. Mary’s Boy Scouts for this ceremony.  The Troop distributed boxes to stores within the Bayonne Town Center that served as flag drop-off sites.  The Town Center stores that participated are Gormley, LoRe, Murphy Insurance Agency, Aaron’s Gold, Carvel, Klothes Kloset, Candle Cottage, and all branches of the Bayonne Community Bank.  The Flag Burning Ceremony is run by the Bayonne Memorial Day Committee.
