BAYONNE, NJ – October 29, 2007. On Friday, October 26th, the Bayonne Town Center and The Bayonne Community News, held its third annual pumpkin decorating contest.  Children ages 3-12 were able to show off their artistic talent by submitting their pumpkins at the Bayonne Town Center office at 8 East 22nd Street from October 10th through October 26th.  These pumpkin masterpieces were displayed in the front window for passersby to admire during the Halloween season.  Pumpkin designs ranged from witches, princesses, scarecrows, to Oreo cookies!  We received over 30 pumpkins this year, a new record!  They were all wonderfully decorated and we would like to thank all the kids that entered!

Each age group winner won 2 tickets to see High School Musical on Ice as well as gifts from European Day Spa, Unique Books and Past Time Hobbies.  A runner up also won 2 tickets to the High School Musical performance.  This year’s winners are Alex Riboldi, Alyssa Lucarello, Marissa Butto, and runner up, Robert Lee.  All other participants were given a Bayonne Town Center Gift Certificate.  Participants were Lizbeth Quispe, Talia Russotto, Joaquin Munyan, Earl Munyon III, Prisca Munyon, Pablo Mosquera, Raquel Mosquera, Stasia Marek, Dominic Crisonino, Shannon McNulty, Daniel DePierola, Chelsea Ramdat, Holly Fenlon, Brett Fenlon, Anastasia Lee, Michael Lee, Jaclyn Magill, Samantha Magill, Lindsay Magill, Ronnie Butto, Amanda Jo Butto, Nicole Gizzi, Demi Dahlstrom, Ashley Puig, Ashley Valencia, Chelsea Fonseca, Caitlyn Lindquist, Allison Lindquist, Cody Lindquist, and Alexandra Toczynski.
