Pumpkin Decorating Contest Winners Announced

BAYONNE, NJ – November 11th, 2006 - On Friday, October 27th, Irwin’s and the Bayonne Town Center, held its second annual pumpkin decorating contest.  Children ages 14 and under were able to show off their artistic talent by submitting their pumpkins at the Bayonne Town Center office at 8 East 22nd Street from October 11th through October 27th.  These pumpkin masterpieces were displayed in the front window for passersby to admire during the Halloween season.  Pumpkin designs ranged from candy apples, rap stars, choo choo trains, to pepperoni pizza!

The participants of this contest didn’t go away empty-handed.  The first prize winner Michael Ramdat won a $50 Irwin’s Gift Certificate, 2nd prize winner Stasia Marek & 3rd prize winner Chelsea Ramdat each won a $25 Irwin’s Gift Certificate.  The pumpkin contest runners-up each received a $10 Bayonne Town Center Gift Certificate complements of the Bayonne Town Center.  Other participants were Allison Lindquist, Joseph Saylor, Tayler Dillon, Jonathan Mari, Jaclyn Magill, Jade Wells Porrman, Ronald Butto, and Alexandra Toczynski.
